Precision Dynamics Corporation (PDC) receives Philanthropy Award from Valley Family Center
Precision Dynamics Corporation (PDC) received the "Corporate Philanthropy" award from the Valley Family Center on March 22 at an annual benefit dinner and auction.
This honor was awarded to PDC for exemplifying the principles of the center through its efforts in the community. These principles include the dignity of the individual, the beauty of each person, and respect for the entire universe.
The Valley Family Center, founded in 1987, is a non-profit organization directed by the Sisters of Charity. The center provides counseling and educational services to people from all socio-economic levels and religious affiliations, assisting over 1,500 individuals per year.
Precision Dynamics Corporation has been involved with the Valley Family Center since its founding nearly 15 years ago. The company president, Dr. Walter Mosher and Bob Shaub, Director of Human Resources have served for several years on the Center's Board of Directors. In addition, many PDC employees are supporters of the center, attending various events and providing monetary contributions.
"It has always been a philosophy of PDC to be a company that puts its employees first in its vision of care and secondly to commit very generously to the communities in which many of these employees live. Most importantly, PDC encourages its employees at all levels to be active in the community and become personally involved in making a difference," Shaub said.
