San Fernando, CA (January 9, 2007) – Precision Dynamics Corporation (PDC), a leader in wristband identification, has launched a new brand name, VIP® Band, for its patron identification wristband product line, formerly Visa® Band. The new name reflects a stronger focus on PDC's customers, as well as its internal programs to ensure their satisfaction.
 
The new brand personifies PDC's customer-centric approach. "It puts the spotlight on our clients, who are treated with VIP status, as well as the top quality products and services that they have come to expect from PDC over the past 50 years," said Daniel Hobin, director of marketing services and communications for PDC.
 

The VIP Band branding campaign will cover multiple communications channels globally, including web site, direct mail, public relations, and print advertising. The new logo features a friendly wristband character with top hat, bow tie, and cuff links. "We kept it fun for the entertainment & leisure market, while reflecting our high-class, specialized VIP service and features." said Hobin.
 
Starting in February, PDC will raffle monthly prizes, including deluxe gift baskets, gift cards, and product discounts. It will also launch a "Red Carpet Roll-Out" section on its web site, displaying photos and quotes from winning customers of why they choose VIP Band products.
 
The new VIP strategy will not be limited to external promotions, but will also be measured internally in PDC's level of service, which is monitored through a Customer Satisfaction Survey Program. Customer surveys are measured online from PDC's web site and via mailed surveys included with customer invoices. Customers rank PDC via a GPA (grade point average) in areas such as Responsiveness, Product Quality, Pricing, Shipping Time & Accuracy, and Web Site Navigation.
 
"This is a comprehensive program that distinguishes PDC from other wristband companies, and we're grateful for the hundreds of responses we received last year," said Hobin. "There is no compliment or criticism more important than the word of our customers, and we take their input very seriously."
 
Customer feedback has sparked several of the enhancements PDC has made in its Customer Care Department, as well as some new interactive web site features that will be added this year for easier online ordering and tracking.
