PDC Partner in Patient Safety Success Story Campaign & Contest

Precision Dynamics Corporation (PDC) teamed up with Patient Safety & Quality Health Care Magazine as an effort to recognize those hospitals that are taking measures to better protect patients through innovative solutions and procedures.

Through the Partner in Patient Safety Success Story Contest, hospitals were invited to submit an essay of successful patient safety practicesbased on patient safety goals (as listed by the Joint Commission), innovative use of technology, effective implementation, measurement of results, and strategies for sustaining the improvements.
Hospitals from across the United States submitted entries demonstrating how each were preventing medical errors through advanced methods of patient safety. Stories
told of challenges and triumphs that have helped hospitals prevent patient deaths and injuries at their facilities.

The hospital with the top patient safety success story as chosen by a select judging committee, receives a $10,000 donation from PDC for its hospital foundation. Three honorees each win $1,000 of their choice of PDC products. All four will also receive a special “Certificate of Excellence in Patient Safety” from the judging committee.

We wish to thank all the hospitals that entered for their time and dedication in improving - and continuing to improve - patient safety at their facilities.
