PDC Goes Water-free!

Did you know that water demand in Los Angeles is expected to grow by 15 percent by 2030?¹ This represents a usage of 770,000 acre-feet per year (AFY)! With population growth and climate change on the rise, serious conservation efforts will be needed to meet these requirements.

To confront this challenge and support the mayor's plan for Securing LA's Water Supply, PDC has chosen to be proactive in utilizing commercial rebate programs to replace water-wasting urinals with high efficiency ones. The new urinals, installed in early '09, achieve zero water consumption, and are expected to save nearly 416,000 gallons of water per year!
