U.S. News & World Report examined data on 5,453 medical centers and hospitals, awarding top honors to 19 hospitals that demonstrated the highest scores in six or more specialties.  Hospitals and Health Networks surveyed more than 1,327 hospitals in its ranking of the “100 Most Wired” hospitals. Hospitals received the highest ratings for their use of information technology to enhance patient safety and quality, customer service, business processes, workforce, and public health and safety.
