PDC Smart Band ^®RFID Wristband Systems Generates Bottom Line Benefits for Waterparks

Cashless Payment, Keyless Entry, Park Pass, and Guest ID Among the features to be demonstrated at 27th Annual World Waterpark Association Trade Show

San Fernando, CA (October 11, 2007) – WWA Booths # 905, 907, 1004, 1006 - Precision Dynamics Corporation (PDC), the global leader in automatic wristband identification, will demonstrate its Smart Band^® RFID Wristband System and VIP^® Band Wristbands during the 27^th Annual World Waterpark Association (WWA) Trade Show, October 25-26, 2007 at the Palm Springs Convention Center, Palm Springs, CA.

The Smart Band^® RFID Wristband is currently being utilized in top national venues. It provides facilities and patrons with automated cashless point-of-sale (POS), keyless entry to hotel rooms and lockers, park admission, and nontransferable patron identification, as well as other customizable applications.

Hyland Hills Water World in Federal Heights, Colorado, the largest community owned and operated outdoor waterpark in the United States, uses PDC’s Cashless POS solution consisting of Smart Band^® wristbands and readers at POS stations throughout the park. Both patrons and venue benefit from the use of this RFID technology. Guests can load money onto PDC’s Smart Band^® wristbands (coined “Splash Cash” at the facility) via cash, check, debit or credit card at any POS terminal.

Guests no longer have to carry cash, a wallet, or a purse while at the waterpark. In addition to enhancing in-park spending, park operators benefit from breakage—unspent credit left on guests’ wristbands after leaving the park. The system also helps eliminate discrepancies with cash drawer transactions, whether caused by human error or theft. In such applications, accuracy is just as critical as convenience, and Smart Band delivers both.

“The RFID wristbands offer our guests a convenient and hassle-free method of making purchases with a simple wave of their wrist.
