Precision Dynamics Corporation Appoints Rick Ellis to VP of Business Development

San Fernando, CA ( January 6, 2006) – Precision Dynamics Corporation (PDC), a global leader in automatic wristband identification, announces the appointment of Rick Ellis as its Vice President of Business Development.

In this new company role, Ellis is responsible for identifying and managing strategic alliances and merger and acquisition initiatives to support PDC’s strategic growth plans and optimize its revenue and operating income. Ellis will also develop and assess new market initiatives and analyze PDC business opportunities in both the healthcare and patron management industries.

Prior to joining PDC, Ellis held positions, including Director and Vice President, in Operations, R&D and Strategic Planning at Hewlett Packard Company, Philips Medical Systems, and Smiths Medical, bringing over 23 years of experience developing medical devices to PDC.

Ellis holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Engineering degrees in mechanical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, NY.
