Precision Dynamics' to Participate in the HIMSS Southern California Chapter Panel on Positive Patient Identification

San Fernando, CA (October 29, 2004) - Irwin Thall, RFID Manager for Healthcare at Precision Dynamics Corporation (PDC), a global leader in automatic wristband identification, will participate in a panel on positive patient identification during the HIMSS (Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society) Southern California Chapter "Tricks & Treats in Healthcare IT" meeting on October 29 at the Doubletree Hotel in Orange, California.

The panel of Healthcare Executives will discuss the importance of positive patient identification and how to make it work.   Questions to be addressed include:

• How vital is it to positively identify patients before procedures and specimen collection?
• What are common barriers and what will facilitate adoption of this fundamental step to quality healthcare?
• What are some limitations to current technologies available?
