Precision Dynamics Corporation's Advertising Department Honored by Communicator Awards

Precision Dynamics Corporation's (PDC) Advertising Department has been honored with three Communicator Awards in the 2001 competition.

The Communicator Awards is a national organization that recognizes outstanding work in the communications field. In year 2001, there were over 3,300 entries submitted.

For this year's competition, the company received recognition in the brochure category, as well as the direct mail category.

An Award of Distinction was bestowed upon the Sentry^® Smart Band™ flyer, a product brochure for one of the company's newest products, a radio frequency identification wristband (RFID). Only nineteen percent of the entries were designated with "distinction."

The company also received Honorable Mention Awards for two direct mail pieces used to attract attendees for various tradeshows. A "Get Smart" mailer, lightly themed around a vintage television comedy received recognition. This mailer was used to promote the company's new Smart Band™. Also recognized was a "Survivor" mailer, which capitalized on the popularity of the Survivor TV series. A huge success in drawing booth visitors, this popular mailer was used to promote the Securline™ Camera Drape.

In addition to responding well creatively, all three winning entries performed in an outstanding manner as far as results.

PDC has been previously honored by the Communicator Awards on a number of occasions.
