Precision Dynamics Corporation Honored by Valley Industry and Commerce Association

Precision Dynamics Corporation (PDC) has been awarded the Member Company of the Year Award by the Valley Industry and Commerce Association (VICA) at the organization's first annual Excellence in Business Awards Program.

The VICA Member Company of the Year is judged on various criteria, including the company's participation and support of VICA activities and committees and the organization's active pursuit of VICA's business agenda and leadership role. In addition, the company must have been a VICA member for more than 5 years.

The nominations are made by VICA members, who receive forms and are asked to nominate companies in various categories, including Start-Up Entrepreneurial Company of the Year (won by Toolshed Inc), Not-For-Profit Organization of the Year (won by Meet Each Need with Dignity), Small Business of the Year (won by The San Fernando Valley Business Journal), Executive of the Year (won by Irwin Rosenberg), and VICA Member Company of the Year (won by PDC).

"We are honored to have received this recognition. As a company that prides itself on its community involvement, our membership in VICA is something we are already extremely proud of and enthusiastic about. Now, to have received this award as well, it is an honor," Robert Shaub, Director of Human Resources said.

PDC was nominated for this award in late May along with other San Fernando Valley businesses, Greer/Daily/Minter and Kirsch, Kohn and Bridge LLP. Dr. Walter Mosher, PDC founder and president, accepted the award on behalf of the company at the VICA awards dinner on June 7th held at the Sheraton Universal in Universal City.
