PDC Employees Make a Difference

PDC’s Green Team challenges employees to look for ways to initiate change within the company through various recycling and conservation programs. Meanwhile, many of our employees carry the PDC Green Team vision into their personal lives by contributing to environmental causes outside of the company in a variety of ways. Here we’ve highlighted one employee and his personal quest to make a difference for the environment.

Chris Stetson, Web Developer & PDC Green Team Leader

PDC employees like Chris Stetson, Web Developer, have a passion for the environment. Chris founded the Green Team with a desire to be an agent of change and lead PDC’s environmental initiatives, while also increasing environmental awareness among PDC’s global workforce of over 500 employees. According to Chris, “Global warming and the destruction of our environment have come to a critical junction. A small step is all it takes to be the catalyst for change.”

Rallying support and donations from PDC and fellow employees, Chris also participates in numerous events to raise funds and awareness for environmental organizations such as the Natural Resources Defense Council and Surfrider. As a veteran triathlete and Ironman competitor, he certainly has the endurance to “go the distance” for the environment.

This April, Chris will be participating in Ironman Arizona as part of the Janus Charity Challenge to raise funds and awareness for the Natural Resources Defense Council.
