Consorta Awards Precision Dynamics Corp. Agreement for Patient ID Bands

San Fernando, CA., (September 1, 2005) – Consorta, a leading group purchasing and resource management organization in the health care industry (Schaumburg, Ill.), has awarded an agreement for patient identification bands to Precision Dynamics Corporation (PDC), a leader in automatic wristband identification. The three-year contract became effective August 1.

“We are pleased to have this agreement with PDC, which provides our members great value on a full line of excellent products that are essential to patient safety,” said Michael Murphy, medical/surgical manager for Consorta.

PDC products covered by the contract include Sentry^® Bar Code LabelBand, CompuBand^® and ScanBand^® Bar Code Wristbands; DataMate^® Laser/Label Wristband System; Securline^® Blood Band; and Securlink^® Blood Recipient System, among others.
